Notes from the Heart
After our Harmony of the Earth concert in San Jose, we gave each child a small card and asked a simple question: what does music mean to you? We weren’t expecting much, maybe a few words, maybe a drawing.
What came back stayed with us. Short sentences written in pencil, simple and honest, saying things we hadn’t really found words for yet.
It captured what made that day feel special: kids expressing something real, in their own way, and music quietly bringing everyone a little closer together.
